My System: Force 1122s Cas 2+ addon MR, Aston, blue zeta
Blue Zeta cam

Hi
I have just bought a blue zeta cam full-x 1,2 and put it into spare slot of my Force 1122s but nothing happens? I have gone into the menu and it does not appear in the access control. I have taken it out replaced both my MR and Aston cam which do come up in the menu but still no response. I have also looked int the package menu and it says Norden, Canal Digital, Conax is this correct?

Also any possibility of speaking to your supplier? I purchased one ages ago to play with and it worked fine in my old Echostar 3000. Tried it tonight and it's ok in the Manhattan.

You need to use the J-Card that comes with the CAS2.

Place the J-Card in the cam first, insert the cam into the CAS, and the J-Card cable into the external connector of the CAS.

'Joker Connected' (same as Zeta Cam) shows in the CAS Menu. (Make sure the J-Card is inserted correctly in the CAM).

Follow instructions in the Menu (i.e. open your file , select and program).

Only one problem, I think I must have got stiffed. I didn't get J-Card with my CAS2. Can I not just put the cam in the cas2? Does this not achieve the same result? Do I also read you correctly in that the blue zeta cam is the same as a joker cam? Many Thanks.

I think the CAS2 is sold on it's own (cheaper) or as part of a deluxe pack (dearer) with jtag and dummy board. Maybe you have the first one I mentioned. I must admit I don't like those jtag thingys because with the CAS1 it was suggested 'wobbling' it in the cam to get a connection. So I wobbled it and blew a diode. Were Duolabs interested, yeah right.

Anyway apart from all that you shouldn't need to program the cam if it's been programmed by your supplier. Full x is for life I believe. Try it in another box.

Hi tall_paul!
Yes blue zeta is a joker or merlin or blue ice ect.
You will need the j-tag to programme it if it is the cam that is at fault.
you will then need the cas2 file followed by Kamilz 112c fun5 file.
Both are readily available should you need them.

This what the j-tag should look like!
