viaccess card ?????

hi there about 2 years ago i bought my system

technomate 1500 ci+

85cm motorised dish

matrix reborn cam

with an Art subscription for the sports which had the football back then so when they lost the football i ended up with a viaccess card that is of no use can this card be used for anything else now or what type of card is it i.e titanium, mega,
i have an elvis programmer and multiprog software but when i try to access the card it comes up trapping card so is it screwed or not any help much appreciated.

I use all my expired cards as a beer mat on the coffee table in the living room.

i take it that means they cant be used for anything else then can they not be used for updating or anything

does any body know what type of card it is though i.e gamma, titanium, funcard etc.
