Exclamation Help finding VxMulti Software...

Does anyone still own a VxMulti 9-mode programmer?

If so, could you send me the original software & activation if possible. Damn floppy disks don't last forever, mine just won't read

If someone can help, I'd be forever greatful.

My email is EMAIL REMOVED

Many thanks

Try another PC. Could be that your O/S can't read it, but a WIN 98 might.

Tried 2 PCs, my laptop, AND the one we use at work - nothing...
Tried to scandisk the floppy, completely had it.

Does anyone still have the software?
Pretty please...

Even if someone here has the original floppy, he wouldn't risk posting it as an attachment as it would be against the rules.
Try the internet or buy a new programmer.
What do you use it for anyway?

I use it for my pic projects. It supports the devices I need. Fair enough, it's old, but I know it very well.

Ok, if someone has the software, can you contact me by PM?

Thanks

Ok, maybe I thought this site was gonna be helpful. Obviously not. I've spent the last few weeks scraping through the interent and all I find is dead links and rubbish...
If no-one is willing to help me out with a simple 1.4Mb zip file, then I wash my hands on this forum. I'm sorry, but thats how I feel.

This site is very helpful - but you are looking for an ancient and obscure bit of software, - chances are few folk still have the discs lying around for it - and even more of a problem these days many computers dont have floppy drives fitted - so even if folks still have them they cant read them.

If you can find a site that did have them try the internet archive

_www.archive.org

- it may just have it hidden away.

No-one can post the attachment even if they do have it - its against our rules to allow software to be tagged onto a post.

Well I'm sorry BARF (seems like an appropriate name), if nobody here has the software which is likely, they are not going to be able to answer you or send it to you. It is a near obsolete programmer, way out of date and nobody it appears (apart from you), uses one any more. Whatever makes you think that after weeks of you trawling the net, someone here is going to do any better?

To be quite honest , your input really won't be missed, try the newsgroups, probably more your style.

PS. Beat me to it Ross.
