which is better, Silver or Fun? Humax 5400

which is better, Silver card or a Fun card?
I have a patched Humax 5400 driving a h-h mount, At the moment I am using ds9 5 in 1 files on a silver card but most of the files downloadable from the net these days seem to be for a fun card so am I behind the times as there are advantages to be had with the latter?
Also where would be the cheapest most reliable place to purchase cards at the moment. Thanks for your time ez.

RE: which is better, Silver or Fun? Humax 5400

Doesn't appear to be much difference between the silver and basic fun card, many of the files are available in both versions anyway. What may make a difference is the new fun card, version 4, this has a much bigger external Eeprom so should be capable of doing a lot more.

With regard to where to buy, there are so many places that it's difficult to cut it down to the cheapest, they all seem to offer different deals.
