multiprogrammer 6 and windows xp

I am running windows xp on my computer and i have multiprogramer 6 and it wont run on xp i was wondering if there was an updated version or an programe similar that i could use

i use elvis and i`m using mp6 version 6.017.282 on xp and it works fine what i do find is if im using software with an ipaq pocket pc run on a serial port it dosnt work so i have to uninstall the software for the ipaq and it works fine hope this helps
