VX Multi Programmer-Add ons and cards

I am about to place an order for the above programmer but wondered if i need to buy any of the addons to enable me to program cards to use for the Tequilla, the P channels etc?

Also whats the difference with all the different type of cards? I have noticed there are gold cards, Pic 16F876/Eeprom 24LC6, the ordinary green cards, Fun cards etc. Which sort is best to buy and why?

Cheers for the help
Gaz

The add on cards for the Vxmutulti are used if you want to program chips off the card.
If you are wanting just to program the gold wafer type cards or other cards like the funcard or silver cards, where the chips are embeded and can't be removed, you don't need the extra add on cards.

I would start with a gold wafer card as there are alot of hex files around for download. Also the goldcard is the cheapest.
