My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

you can normally put a gold file on a silver file, but not vice versa, the programming method is however identical.

Load the Pic, then the Eeprom and press program.

yes basic algo is same but delay is not for 16f876/877 is 3 miliS for 16f84 is 10 miliS , same as erase butmany programmers use "biggiest" value than needed for delay time in programming and erase mode to be compatibile whith most of fammily IC .

Arrow Silvercard not Detected!!

Hello,Thanks rolfx, i tried this method: Ok! with Goldcard,but:

In infinity USB, when i insert SilverCard, it's can be detected;
I try full detect,but the result is:

CPU is a <PIC 16F877>
Ext.EEprom is a <?>
Card is probably a <[Custum Card]>

At the infinityusb forum(in FAQ:"Could not verify location") , they say that we must clean contact.

But it detect the CPU.

Any idea, or how to program a custum card in this programmer(ext EEprom & CPU)

THANKS all people..

anyone who ever made SW for autorespone programmer knows that only few % of GW cards have ID placed by manfacturer in MCU , and that about 10% got ID 0560 , iD for pic16f877 is quite different and cant be mixed if is programming SW corectly maded . That custom ask is this, every microchip (but also other manfacturer) MCU got space for custom ID and other data stored in "spetial" pocket of flash.Having no manf. ID in GW is proably your problem about correct identifikation GW card, but that is mistake by developer of programmer you use.
