Reading TPS card with Infinity USB Phoenix

Hi,
This is my first post.
I have an Infinty USB Phoenix reader/programmer and I would like to be able to read the official legal card used by Parabole Reunion (similar to TPS but for the Indian Ocean area and Madagascar from Eutelsat W2 16E). My question is what type of card should I select ( Gold card ???) and above all will I destroy the content of the card if I read it ?

If you want to break your card, try reading it with a programmer. Most modern cards are unreadable without specialist knowledge.

so, how can we actually read those kind of cards?
i have searched via google but all informations are either false, outdated or fake one.

what additional hardware needed?

last time, during S*CA 1 - (Provider 21) there's ppl that can read the card, then edit extact the details such as Internal EEPRPom, external EEPROM and flash. Then unlock the PPV channels. those files are then copied to FUN2 cards for onward usage.

I still do not understand. Appreciate further details

Actually I have been searching for the same over and over. Is it that the information is sacred and hidden from some of us or what?
Can't some one put all we need to read cards so we can be trying, after all, many heads are better than one. The hardware and software needed and how to do it is all we want.
