Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser. | There are many different programmers available and everyone will have their favourite, there are several threads in this section covering some of the more popular ones. From the point of view of assistance, the Elvis is a safe and flexible choice, a huge amount of hobbyists own them and will have suffered the inevitable teathing problems. | ||

| Agree with Rolf, the progammer choice is a matter of personal taste and Elvis is one of the most popular ones. ![]() I personally own and can recommend a German model MasterCRD2, which I purchased over the net from Germany for ~£50. It is very versatile (works with all types of cards) and reliable, highly commended by Duwgati and has very good software support. Hope this helps your decision process. | ||

| Mastera is also very easy when used with CardWriter v1.82 or ChipCat software. Runs painlessly on all versions of Windows and will program all popular card-types including Goldwafer, DS9/Silver and Funcards. The Mastera is sometimes relabelled as a "Vegas" for the UK market.
