My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Not relevant at the moment, but scraping ice off windscreens is a good use.

how about breaking & entering.

Also useful for those foreign hotel rooms which require a card-key to be inserted into a switch inside the room in order to operate the air-conditioning. Since you take your card-key with you this allows you to leave the airco on while away from your room.

But the best use is this: remove the chip and glue it into a similarly stripped-out goldcard. Then sell it at your local Irish pub as a Sky hack
