My System: Echostar AD-3600 IP Viaccess
Question A Big problem.

Hallo all, I have a really big problem and I hope some one could help me with it.
Here we go:
I have this receiver "Echostar AD-3600 IP Viaccess" and it uses Goldcard to unlock channels.
Recently I bought a Smartcard Reader/Writer, this model "Cherry ST-1044U"
This is the problem: I tried every program here and on other sites but I just cant connect with any software provided here to the programmer.
But the programmer works fine...because in the control pannel I have a Diagnostic Tool that shows what my porgrammer does, and when I put the goldcard in it or remove it you see that in that Diagnostic Tool...so it works.
What am I doing wrong, why no software can connect to the programmer?
Any help please, I would really appreciate.
Greetings,
Russian

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Unfortunatley I have never heard of the unit, it appears to be mainstream and used for programming access control etc. Have you looked on www.Duwgati.com? They have examples of most universal software on there, plus there is a forum specific to programmers and software.

Try port 4, but have a look at Duwgati.com, he has tried most of the commonly available programmers and also most of the types of programming software.

I would recommend something which programmes more than a goldcard, perhaps something like the Infinity USB Phoenix, or the Elvis USB.
