My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

A programmable card. Believe it or not its gold coloured! In satellite terminology its a bit of plastic that can be used to open pay tv channels. However its virtually obsolete these days - although with the right flash file can still be used to open the basic TPS channels.

What pay services do you want - you can forget any ideas about getting Sky for free.

In that case read the forum threads about TPS.

You will need to invest in a basic card programmer and find the "renber" via 2 flash.

Be advised that the situation with open channels changes from week to week. Your expensive toys might be so much junk next week if the encryptions change.....
