Hauppauge Freeview cards for Windows XP Media Center PCS

PC TV card maker Hauppauge has reached agreement with manufacturers of Microsoft Windows XP Media Center-equipped PCs to incorporate its WinTV Nova-T range of Freeview PC cards into their products. The deals extend Hauppauge's existing agreements with OEMs with respect to its analogue TV tuner cards.

Owners of the new PCs - which act as digital TV and music home entertainment centres as well as conventional home computers - will gain access to XP Media Centre PVR functions such as Pause Live TV, Record TV, TimeShifting, and a full EPG as well as the Freeview TV and radio channels.
