My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100 | Don't know how many terabytes the download will be but Computer Shopper magazine gave a a card which can be exchanged for an SP1 DVD. ...Or you could just wait. Microsoft say that the SP will be downloaded at appropriate times, presumably as part of Windows update. | ||

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs  Saved us from the black plague of ignoratio elenchi, he awaits a special badge with jugs |

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :( The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | So what does Vista SP1 fix then? Or is it more polishing of the biggest microsoft t*rd ever? | ||

Go back to the place that sold it to you. If you didn't buy it  then I think you may have to reinstall Vista as I don't think that the system restore point works to remove SP1. If you haven't made any backups then you will lose all your data.If you have to reinstall then I suggest you disable automatic updates. This may cause problems in the future though. | ||
