Internet Connection with Fastpath,what exactly is the diffrence,then without?

Internet Connection with Fastpath,what exactly is the diffrence,then without?

Hello!
my provider ,changed now to using fastpath,now it has the effect,that the websites how it looks open more quickly on my 6 mbit dsl line,and espasaly the videos in livestreaming,starting earlier,then before,the buffering prozess is very quickly finish now!
i have now a ping rate of 55,on _speedtest.net.when i click on my nearest location,in the landscape!

who can explain me,how fastparth work,and what it have to do with the ping rates?
how fast is the cable and dsl speed in uk?
normaly the protocoll of dsl+2 ofers 16 mbit and more,but the telephone lines here are so bad and old from the 2.worldwar that 5,5,up to 6 mbit here is the limit!
the cable offers 22 mbit for 50€ dsl coasts 30€ but my nabour cut me the cable durring diging a water pipe,now i have to wait,for the new cable,on cable i got a ping of only 20-25_)

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Mine occasionally attains almost 512k.

Edit: Using the site you linked, currently showing 0.46Mbps and 97mS ping.

this linespeed we have around 4 years ago!

chrismas the austrian post has a limited special offer 2 mbit only for 4€/month,was avalible only 2 month long!

Yes indeed - same here.

Very likely to remain so for the next four years, too

And now, owing to recent changes in many ISP packages, we are paying the same as those with the same ISP who get 8Mbps.

But the sheep are quite nice.
