Hotmail,Gmail,and Yahoo Mail Acounts hacked?

Hello!
the last 3 days,i read a lot of reports in german newsletters,that first 100 of acounts of hotmail was hacked,now also gmail and yahoo mail are affected!
hotmail,contacts 100 of users in the meantime!
does anyone know how the hack works?
was hotmail hacked again,in the past?
i dont use hotmail or gmx,only yahoo mail,and gmail,but on the last one,the sign in process looks not very secure,if i would activate,in a internet cafe,the field,remember the pw for this computer,everyone,could access my mails,without asking for the pw again,this looks not realy secure!

It is a phishing attack, where a professional looking email arrives asking you to confirm your details to something, the reality is the it is a spoof server which simply records your details. You would be amazed at how gullible a lot of users are, giving back details etc, the only safe thing to do is check your our box to ensure all the mail is your and then change your password as we have been discussing on this thread
