Hot Keys

Oh dear, I accidently hit some incorrect hot keys today and suddenly my font is different and all the adverts on the site have lines through them.
Does anyone know how to get back to default, as I have tried everything I know from options content in Firefox, I just cannot get it back correct again

Get shot of Norton for a start.

A roll-back via windowz might also be on the cards.

definitely not required, I already have a clean installation on another sata drive but just havn't got a 2nd sata lead at the moment to run them both at the same time. Decided some time ago that my installation being 3 1/2 years old needed a re-install and got a free160Gb HD from a BTVision box in order to achieve this. At worst I just may have to hasten my purchase of the offending cable....

MS call it a 'system restore', taking the operation back to before the cockup happened, no discs required.

As for Norton, you need look no further than other threads here.

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :(

The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken!

Personally, I use AB+ in FireFox, so I see no ads (sorry guys, but they really are annoying!!! Especially getting ads to fix sky.exe on my PC!!!)...

Try using combinations of Ctrl + something or Alt + something and see what they do, otherwise, I'm stumped...

I think your car looks funny too......

A system restore would be a pointless exercise as it was not working properly before my finger trouble and would not get rid of the problems that existed prior to that. Hence my preparation of a clean XP installation on my other drive. Of course that is assuming that the restore would work as my experience over the years since XP was released has been that system restore often pretends it is doing something then fails miserably.

I agree Norton has got too big, complicated and slow in operation but whilst I still have a subscription to it I am sticking to my guns
