My System: SKY

Looking for a server and couple of PCs, I have recently discovered a new site www.it247.com supplying many high street brands of IT hardware and software. No - nonsense, good service and prompt delivery surprised me greatly.

My System: Technomate 1500CI 'MONOBLOC' LNB FOR ASTRA & HOTBIRD Mortek DISEQC 1.2 MOTOR Triax 88 cm Dish

When I want to buy something I read some reviews on www.which.co.uk
(they offer a free month trial) and then when I have selected the product I want to purchase I use many many sites such as:
www.google.co.uk/.com/.fr
www.ask.co.uk
www.kelkoo.co.uk
www.supermarket.com
www.price-runner.co.uk
There are a lot of comparison price websites nowadays. However it is definetely worth spending time around to find the cheapest quote on what you want to buy. When you found it just get the references and contact the best 3 sites offering the cheapest prices. Don't forget rule number 1 & 2:
-Those businesses want your money!
-make the competion work to your favour. Call those companies armed with your references and so on tell them that you want to buy this and that but you found the same item cheaper somewhere else (they will check online yuor findings). So what do you propose me?! and trust me it works to knock a few pounds off the second cheapest price you found.
So my advice is don't stop to the comparison sites results and put most of those sites suggested buy our fellow friends, spend time to read reviews to get a good reliable and efficient (sometimes even low cost maintaining over long term:ie cartridges) product and then search the cheapest quotes and use competion to your own advantage.
Don't be shy or ashamed to call those companies because THEY want your business and money!
