Any Excel Wizards?

Hi guys - trying to auto update an XL spreadsheet from another computer on the network without using manual refresh ( sort of like the remote assistance tool where you type on one and see it on the other)

Is this at all possible ??

Cheers

Entering data into several Tables by Grouping Worksheets...

When creating worksheets which have the same structure and the same formulas in the same places, you should group them together before you enter data that is going to be identical in all tables. Then you only have to enter the data once, and it will automatically be entered into all the worksheets by Excel.

Thought I'd bump this up rather than make a new thread for a similar request. Basically I don't know how to do a formula so that I can make even better tables for the fantasy footie. I'm sure this is quite simple, but I don't quite know how to make it work. I have a draft excel file which you can play with to make it work.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

To "make" a forumula type = (the equals symbol)

the cell with then get a slashed outline; use the arrow keys to highlight the required cell(s) and then choose your operator (+ - / *) etc.

google will probably give you a better answer with screenshots

Basically, I can do the adding up of the points, that's pretty obvious! My problem come when I have to deduct the transfer penalties from the total. The rules on transfers is here - _http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/help.mc?category=transfers. Just to add further complication, there is the wild card (which the page explains.

If you can get that to work, fantastic!

(BTW, don't worry about the 'positions' column when you go to sort it, that will move out of place but it's not important.)

Not particularly, leave until the weekend if you like the league doesn't until August, but I like to have everything in place.
