I think ITV really could of done better. Technically they should have more money than the BBC due to them being a commercial channel but Primeval comes off rather second rate to Doctor Who. The main character's aren't really likable very much, we don't even know that much about there families. Take for example the first episode of Doctor Who 3, we knew everything about Martha Jones' family, job, problems, feelings, ambition, personality all in the first 30 mins. The writers of Primeval couldn't do that in 6 hours. I mean some of it is alright, but there are so many plot holes. The idea is that these time anomalies are appearing and dinos are walking though. Some swim thorough, conveniently where there is a lake on one side there is a swimming pool on the other, phew that was lucky. Also when these giant bugs start to appear, Hannah Spearritt has just done a research paper of bugs from that time, phew that was lucky also. Hannah Spearritt herself is ok, but she is no Billie Piper and she is the best actor in it.

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100 | Well I don't watch to get my paleolithic sorted from my pre-cambrian. I just watch it because there's not enough SF on TV that's any good at all and I'll take any that's there. BTW it's not THAT bad. Yes. the plot is a bit creaky at times but you can say that about Doctor Who and virtually anything you care to name. Hannah Spearritt is OK but I certainly don'togle after her. She's Soooo skinny. The photo carefully has that little top covering up what she hasn't got!
