Horizon - Are We Alone in the Universe?

This looks good tonight, Horizon - Are We Alone in the Universe? on BBc 2 tonight at 9pm.

The latest in the search for other Earth-like planets capable of supporting life, including the technology that pinpoints stars' `habitable zones'. Airwave scanning for extraterrestrial communications, and the construction of a giant telescope add to the sense that major discoveries are imminent.

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100

Just finished watching it. It was mostly good but it does seem a bit "thin" compared to Horizons that I remember from years ago.

A victim of "dumbing down" perhaps?

Of course we are not alone, once the idea of conforming to the usual laws of physics are left in the classroom, anyone can locate their Class M planet.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
