Cotton: sticking with ITV The actor, who plays Sean Tully in the soap, has signed a two year agreement to stick with the ratings-topper and, according to reports in The Sun, will now be looking into following up on The Antony Cotton Show with new projects. According to an unnamed source from ITV the channel wants him to “try his hand at something different,” adding that “a new game show is a big possibility.” Cotton himself told the paper “I look forward to some exciting new storylines in the Street and developing future programme ideas with ITV.” Source: how-do

| The question to the answer though is 'why'? The last (sorry - only ) series was on at teatime, aired while the competition on Channel 4 - the more adept/adaptable host Paul O'Grady was on a break, and it still died a death in the viewing figures. I will try to dig up a snippet of the show, but all You Tube articles have been pulled by ITV for some reason, and it's not copyright.
