It was on earlier this week, and is repeated with subtitles/hard of hearing. Just started on BBC1. I began in this industry with some hope that my installations would bring in TV from around the world to a number of residents hoping to get anything available. Motorised installations have of course kept many customers happy with their purchases, however fixed installs (ususally the one satellite only) do not give anyone similar satisfaction. Whilst the work was worthwhile and profitable, the broadcasters using just one satellite ( and cable, which used to show French and Russian TV) have over the past two decades tightened the reins and removed the overseas channels from the fixed satellite and broadband line-up.

Yes of course my mistake, I was forgetting your Westerly location It never fails to amuse me how silly the situation currently is, the This Morning presenter Phil was almost apoplectic the other day when they asked people to email in their comments and got a reply from a viewer from Australia who was watching the program live (presumably via a slingbox) although the presenter seemed to think it was via live streaming. I thought live streaming was not possible outside of the UK same as BBC Iplayer is not possible outside of the UK. Once upon a time there were defined edges to content viewing which have now become so blurred they may as well just have a free for all as there are so many work arounds and illegal services available although as you say they may be messy and the equivalent of hoop jumping, obviously I cannot comment on that through total lack of experience on the subject.

| and apologies from me, a paragraph I had in the opening post got deleted by accident. I was attempting to make a link between the education (albeit possibly a subconscious one) via the medium that one has in the corner of the living room. If anything the ease at which a family can subscribe to a one-mans view of the world that ignores the vast majority of 'foreign' content, in my opinion plays a big part in the problems seen on the show last night. @Compufunk - A link to the first part (split into three) | ||

Its sickening to see some peoples attitudes and the hurt they inflict on their fellow humans. These bad times we are going through will just make it worse.
