My System: Sky+ Pace v3, and before that analouge 80cm dish with Prima by Pace box pointed at 19.2e (not very imaginative then!)
Björk

Incredible artist, just starting getting into her lately, 'All is Full of Love' is an amazing song, and has a great video to match:

So, am I right or is she just some annoying Icelander?

And talking of Iceland, what a wonderful country, would love to go on holiday there, anyone been there?

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I've always liked her music, apart from Oh So Quiet, which I thought was horrible.

Been there on a day trip.
Well worth seeing, but the cost of staying overnight doubles the holiday pricing.

I have most of the early Bjork stuff, including the Sugarcubes (whom I thought were reforming soon). Isobel is probably my favourite track , but the albums are easy to put on and listen to all in one go.

Björk's great, her videos are great and Iceland looks.. great!

Many of her videos were/are done by Michel Gondry - and are amazing.

I'd love to go to Iceland at some stage and it appears the flights are becoming more affordable - probably got something to do with the Icelandic business invasion! The accomodation prices don't seem all that expensive to me (not as bad as I was expecting anyway!) but I guess it's the other things, like food and drink etc, that all add up?

BTW I love the Sugarcubes song that was played endlessly on MTV back in 1990/91 (IIRC) - can't think of the name right now. "This wasn't supposed to happen" is one of the main lines. She looks so adorable in the video!

Well Skip each to their own

Do you spend a lot of time watching them dress the windows at Harrods?

Perhaps I'm being linked to the wrong video on this thread Skip but all I see are a couple of expressionless animated dummies miming to some soothing music. As computer animations go it is not that bad however presumably they are miming to Björk's singing. Not wishing to offend here but I find nothing great in what I am seeing. Fortunately not everybody has my taste and indeed it may be good, where can I see some more of her videos and perhaps I could be converted?

My System: 2xPace 430N, 1xNokia MM9800, 1xNokia 80cm Sat Dish, 1xGibertini 120cm, Big Fat Furry Puss

That track reminds me of 'Human Behaviour' - but without the interesting melody.

That girl has gone a bit retrospective/ethnic?/mad the last few years and so I have gone off her a tad.

What's wrong with '... oh so quiet' ;-((

LOL, I wasn't talking about the video at the top of the page - I was talking about the "this wasn't supposed to happen" Sugarcubes video. I should've made it a bit clearer!

Got to admit I didn't bother clicking on the Youtube vid at the top of the page (I'm not too keen on Youtube) so didn't twig!

Missing from the first Debut album pressings, then hastily added after the film got some decent reviews.

You need a decent hi-fi system to fully appreciate the album.

"just starting getting into her lately" well all I can say is I hope the two of you enjoy yourself's.

Agree about the video, but found the song a little boring.
