Humphrey Boagrt...6 FOOT?? You kidding!

The Internet Movie Database is usually right but on heights of celebs they're sometimes laughingly wrong.

Take Humphrey Bogart for instance. He was renowned for insisting his leading ladies stand in trenches when acting side by side, to make him look taller. Alan Ladd did the same.

Even in Bogart's life story, his height to be reported to be between 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 7, but I would generously go for 5 feet 7, coz that's is still short in Hollywood acting terms.

However, the IMDB has Bogart standing at 5 feet 10 and a half - with shoes that would make him nearly 6 foot!! No way was Bogie 6 foot. It's a joke. I have tried getting this put right, but the IMDB say they go by a more reliable source than me. Err, like who, when the guy who wrote his best selling biograhy puts Bogie at 5 feet 6! LOL.

Well you could always fly over there and dig up his coffin if there is one ;-))

I read that Sly Stallone is 6'4" - so too is JC van Damned (and a manhood to match).

You never heard that JC van damned is about 4'8" with the presence of a 6'4" prick. I thought this was common knowledge :-))

I take back what I suggested about Sly - even if he also is about 3'8".

Did you know Steve McQueen was only 5 feet 8?
