Cyfrowy Polsat Package

Here is the detailed page for the Cyfrowy Polsat package.
I think it is popular mainly because of the high quality sports channel.
See bitrate details.

New channels with Original audio sound

There are new channels in this package with seperate audio channels for Polish (dubbed) and original (English, etc.).
This should make this package more attractive, as a dubbed channel can be quite irritating.

Check the Lyngsat link below:
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/polsat.html

- BBC (Entertainment, Knowledge, Lifestyle) (added 02/04/08)
- HBO (HBO, HBO2, HBO Comedy) (added 02/01/08)

I don't have 800S, but you can try to install a software emulator like CCcam 2.0.9, put the card in the cardreader slot with the chip down, select CCcam from the blue button and see what happens.
Let us know if this works.

i have CCcam 2.0.9 in the box and the card is not been seen,
i think the card is paired on the nagracam,
on the nagarcam the card works,on dreambox not with CCcam 2.0.9.

You can also try latest Mgcamd.
Ask the same question (not a duplicate please) in the 800S section and give all the details in one post, what you have tried etc.
Few members have this model already and they might have a solution to something similar.

HBO Digital

I can see in the Polsat promo a mention of a channel named HBO Digital.
But it is not mentioned in their website.
And according to Lyngsat
_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/polsat.html
There is no such channel.
Usually HBO Digital is a PPV channel.
So how is it possible to pay for something if it doesn't show in the channel list?
Or is this only in a dedicated Polsat receiver?
Any clues?

Cyfrowy Polsat Subscription

Has anyone seen a Cyfrowy Polsat Subscription on offer in any website that includes the HBO channels and the Cinemax channels and several BBC channels?
I am interested only in the channels which has English audio, which are not that many, but at least things have improved over the past few months, so I will probably pay for all the channels with Polish dubbing as well.
I have seen only the Family Packet subscription, which doesn't include the am channels.

Subscription possibilities

Here is a subscription package (Samsung Nagra receiver + 12 months smartcard) from one of our site sponsors Sateuropa.
Cost 389 Pounds.
Looks like it has only the Family Package.
Would have been great to include the BBC channels and HBO
Also what happens after one year. Would it be possible to renew or you get stuck with just the receiver.
http://www.sateuropa.co.uk/product_o...id=10&subcat=8
Another subscription possibility from CDTronix
Cost 315 Pounds, including a matching CAM
Also Family package, but the channels list is shorter than what Sateuropa has listed (Cinemax and Cinemax2 is missing)
http://www.cdtronix.com/viewing-card.../prod_258.html
Big question is how to get the BBC and HBO options on these cards.
There might be cheaper possibilities from Europe.

Don't rush to buy anything unless you are absolutely sure that the listed channels will really open with any of the offered packages.
Contact the shops first and ask your questions so that you have a reference for later on if any channel is missing.
There are many options so beware.

check also if it is nagra3 card or nagra2,because all old cards will go to the new nagra3 card,
they switch all channels to nagra3,that is why some keys don't work annymore to some people who watch it with keys.

My System: Gibertini OP120 + Inverto Black Premium Twin @ 28.2E

Hello, mates. I have noticed in lyngsat.com and kingofsat.net that this package includes Eurosport HD and Espn Classic Europe both with English Audio. Is this true?
How much does a pack with Eurosport HD and ESpn Classic cost?
Thank you.
