Canal Digitaal sells 100,000 duo LNBs

Dutch DTH operator Canal Digitaal Satelliet said it has sold 100,000 so-called duo-LNBs, which enable reception of two satellites with a single dish. Including motorised dishes and third party LNBs, a total of 20% of its subscribers now have the possibility to watch both Astra 1 at 19.2 degrees East and Astra 3 at 23.5 degrees East.

Canal Digitaal is in the process of developing the second position as a new source of programming for the Dutch market. On Monday, the first seven new channels were launched on the orbital position as part of a new thematic bouquet. As reported the new offer consists of Discovery Science, NatGeo Wild, HumorTV, ConsumentenTV, /Geschiedenis, HollandDoc and Nederland 4, which offers a choice of 13 public channels. On December 1 a further two or three channels will be added; these might include Discovery Civilisation, Discovery Travel and Sci-Fi Channel.

CDS also added Hustler TV to its premium offer.

My System: 1,25 Fibostop Jäger Smr 1224 & Smo 36 Dual Axsis Motor Dynasat F1 Monterey 140 Drembox 800 sky Pace HD Box Tagra 2,20 M Fullsize Dish Echostar 2,40m Mesh for cband!

that means monoblock lnbs, with integrated diseqec switch?
because, you cant change, the distance, between the lnbs, you can never optimeize the signal on monoblock, coz you have nothing to ajust!
esapesly small 60 cm dishes, taht are not set up 100% to the satelite, could make a lot of problems then..!
,better,they shold sold bigger dishes,that,costumors have,more signal,during heavy rains!
why,the dutch regional channels, are moved from astra to 23,5?
was the transponder rent,to expensive, for this small country?
