Setanta cuts price ahead of Premiership launch

Setanta Sports has made an unexpected price reduction to satellite and DTT viewers ahead of the start of the Premiership football season on August 11. The discount of £6 for satellite viewers puts the price on par with the price previously paid by football fans for the now defunct Prem Plus – though at considerably better value for Setanta’s nine channel package.

DTT viewers receive a discount of £1 for the single available channel, but cable viewers will continue to pay the previous £15 package. The three-channel broadband package remains unchanged at £7.99.

Regards Satdude.
