QVC continues to cement its position as the UK’s most popular shopping channel with a 6.5% increase in annual sales. QVC UK reported net sales of £352.6 million compared to £331m a year earlier. The channel’s best performing day was December 9, when 100,000 orders were taken, to the value of £4.8m. 4 million units were shipped in Q4, the highest ever quantity in a quarter, belying the current nervousness on the UK high street. QVC has distribution on cable, satellite and a DTT contract that runs until 2022.
