The Czech national commercial broadcaster Prima TV is to buy a 51% stake in the regional station Genus TV for an unspecified fee, according to the local report. The transaction will be undertaken through a company named Regio Media and will need the approval of the Czech Broadcasting Council (RRTV). Genus TV, which is based in Liberec and licensed until 2020, will retain S Group Holding as a 49% shareholder.
