Spanish DTT channel Unidad Editorial's Veo TV has seen completed the purchase of 44.6% by its main owner. Unidad Editorial is one of Spain's most important newspaper editorial companies and before the buy already owned 55.4% of the channel. The extra stake cost €88.5 million. Veo TV's buy out comes at a strategic time for Unidad Editorial, owned by Italian editorial group RCS Mediagroup, since the Spanish company wants to be very present in DTT development as well as in the cable and satellite markets.
