Ad revenue losses due to next year’s advertising ban on French public television are starting already. Compensation for 2008 was evaluated last week as €150 million by the Copé Commission, charged with setting up the new funding for public television. This amount represents about 20% of the €800 million ad revenues generated last year by France Télévisions. Source: Rapid TV News
