Coming up shortly, a treat for golf fans with coverage of the US Masters from Augusta National Golf Club. Coverage includes the whole four days (10th/11th 9-12pm and 12th/13th 8.30-12pm)

Going some way to appease followers of the FA Cup, both semi-finals of this years competition, Cardiff v Barnsley and WBA v Portsmouth, will be shown in High Definition. Previous rounds have not been available in the HD format.

If sport isn't your thing a new children's mini-series called DinoSapien is based on the premise that dinosaurs did not become extinct and evolved a limited intelligence. High School Musical 2 (simulcast with BBC One) will also be arriving soon. Also in the Spring schedule are a couple of HD movies, Freaky Friday and The Magic Roundabout. There are number of documentaries including Shroud of Turin - Material Evidence, Adventures in Architecture (Dan Cruickshank) along with Around the World in 80 Gardens.

Florence, a costume drama about Florence Nightingale having a breakdown after the Crimean War is joined by Casualty 1907, Mad men (from the writer of The Sopranos) and Damages (Glenn Close) and Heroes. Comedy offerings come in the shape of 'That Mitchell & Webb Look', and 'Gavin and Stacey' and Desperados (William Ivory and Anthony Head).
