New media television network Gong, dedicated to Japanese anime, has launched its online video-on-demand platform. PC owners and manga fans can thus watch their favorite series in broadcast quality. Created in May 2007 by former TBS VP André de Semlyen and former Jetix Europe VP Benoît Runel, Gong is now available on mobile or web platforms into 42 European and North American countries. Networks the service is carried on include Club Internet and TF1 Vision in France, BT Vision Download Store in the UK and Orange Mobile in part of Europe. source: Rapid TV News
