Four French mobile users out of 10 have access to the internet via their mobile phone. A study from Médiamétrie and the Mobile Marketing Association France shows that 41.1 % of French mobile users have access and between October and December 2007 more than one individual out of five, which is around 11 million people, consulted the mobile internet at least once. The majority of users are men and one quarter of the mobinauts are young people aged between 15 and 24 years-old . Most-consulted content is weather and current news (65.5%), practical services (50.1%), leisure (38.2%), then sport and finance. Young people’s favorites are sports and games.
