The hardware package with an IPTV compatible set-top-box, router and splitter costs as part of a special promotion in May and June €49.99 instead of €99.99, the Bonn-based company announced. They can also use the catch-up service “TV archive”, in which selected series, documentaries and other programmes can be watched free-of-charge after their first television screening. Newly available is the secondary receiver MR 100 for €129.99, which customers can order if they wish to receive the IPTV service in further rooms.
T-Home Entertain can currently be received via broadband technologies ADSL2+ and VDSL in more than 17 million households in 750 towns and cities. By year-end around 1,000 towns and cities should be able to receive the service, corresponding to around 20 million households.
