TF1 renews again with Endemol | |
French commercial network TF1 has re-signed a production deal with Big Brother-producer Endemol France for the next two years.
Reported by popular French weekly magazine Le Point, the new agreement, not yet officially revealed, is expected to be confirmed in the coming few days. However, there might be a dramatic change in that the new relationship might not be on an exclusive basis.
We will also have to wait to see what TF1 is paying, but most accept that the deal might be less valuable to Endemol than the last renewal back in July 2006. As for Endemol’s French production house, it is also interested in diversifying away from light entertainment into drama or docs – perhaps importantly - working with other networks.
