The Canal+ Group has signed an agreement with the Algerian EEPAD company to deliver a number of IPTV bouquets in the country. Viewers can choose between various packages ranging from 18 to 52 channels. Until now it was not legally possible to receive these channels, but the new agreement makes access to the French and Arab language channels a reality. Viewers have to buy an IPTV set-top box and pay a monthly fee, ranging from DZD2,499 (€26.3) for the basic tier up to DZD3,600 for the full offer of 52 channels. Source: BroadbandTVNews
