News Corp is reported to have returned the national TV licence it secured in Montenegro last autumn to the country’s Broadcast Agency (ARD). Only a few days ago the ARD warned that News Corp’s Fox TV, along with another licence holder named Pro TV, would lose their licences if they did not start broadcasting by this Thursday (July 10). According to an industry source, Abaz Dzafic, the head of the ARD, has said that the frequencies relinquished by Fox TV will be offered in a tender to be called at a later date.
