Adult channel Leo boosts coverage

Leo TV, the Czech Republic’s recently launched first adult channel, has signed distribution agreements with a number of smaller cable and IPTV operators.

Speaking to Digizone, Libora Horacka, the executive director of Leo TV’s licence holder PK62, and its marketing director Pavel Mojzise, said the operators in question include Mattes AD, PODA and Kabelová Televize CZ.

Leo TV can at present only be received by customers of the DTH platform CS Link who purchase pre-pay cards from Gital. Trade and Technology, the second company licensed to sell CS Link pre-pay cards, will make Leo TV available from this autumn.

Although O2 TV, the leading Czech IPTV platform, is also expected to make Leo TV available to its subscribers from this autumn, there are as yet no indications as to if or when will be carried by UPC, the country’s leading cable operator.
