Polsat Play sets launch date

The new Polish thematic channel Polsat Play will make its debut on October 6.

Local reports say the service, which will be aimed at male viewers, will initially be distributed by the DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat and UPC Polska.

Offering a mix of in-house and acquired content, it will aim to have an audience share of 0.2% in the 16-49-age group by the start of 2009.
