THE Xbox 360 games console has been slashed to its lowest ever price. Two weeks after Microsoft cut the cost of its machine, supermarket Sainsbury’s has axed a further £30 off the basic arcade version to £99.97. It is also reducing Nintendo’s Wii console by the same amount to £149.97. The reductions run until October 12. A spokesman said: “Games are one of our fastest-growing products.” Neil Long, editor of games industry magazine MCV, added: “This marks the most ambitious move yet in the price wars. Gamers would be well advised to snap these up now.” Source:Sun
