Setanta gives Virgin action Replay

Setanta Sports is adding an on demand service to Virgin Media that will give the cablenet a potentially competitive edge over BT Vision.

The new Setanta Replay will offer Virgin Media subscribers access to recent matches from the Premier League, the FA Cup, England Home friendlies and World Cup qualifiers. BT Vision has the rights to show the Saturday afternoon Premier League fixtures on delay, but the Setanta offer is arguably broader in its coverage of the domestic football programme.

Setanta Replay will be available to subscribers on its top TV tier, known as XL, who already receive the linear Setanta Sports channel as part of the bundle. Customers on the M and L TV packages can receive Setanta Replay as part of TV Choice, available for a further £7 per month.
