Sony reveals super skinny TV

SONY’S LATEST TV seems to be suffering from a severe case of anorexia as it is named the thinnest LCD TV ever.

At just 9.9mm thick, or should we say thin, the Sony Bravia ZX1 is actually slimmer than a piece of burnt toast – amazing.

The ZX1’s thin physique is down to using LED on the side, not the back, which gives it that slim waistline it has been working so very hard for.

In terms of specifications of the more common kind, the Bravia ZX1 has a 40 inch screen, a frame rate of 100Hz and a pixel perfect image using Sony’s blur reduction technology.

The TV is also HD compatible and comes with one HDMI port on the telly and three extra ones in case you collect them.

Although thin as a stick, or perhaps thinner, you certainly don’t get more for your money with this purchase as the ZX1 will set you back a bank breaking £2929.

We urge Sony to bask in the glory of this super skinny crown while it lasts, as soon enough competitors such as JVC, Phillips and Samsung are expected to bring out even thinner TVs – so thin they might just disappear if you look at them sideways.
