BBC announce online version of Dragons’ Den

The BBC has announced a new online version of Dragons’ Den which will see entrepreneurs face two of Britain’s business high-flyers in the hope of securing up to £50,000 of investment.

As in the BBC Two programme, the online Dragons are highly successful business people ready to commit serious financial resources. The BBC says the identities of the online Dragons will be revealed in the coming months.

Mario Dubois, Executive Producer Online Dragons, said: “Dragons’ Den is a fantastic brand and the online opportunity will add real value for the audience.

“The show feeds off creativity and innovation and shows that the UK, even in the current economic climate, is still a hotbed for new ideas and inventions. It’s a significant step forward for the BBC’s multiplatform offering.”
