The Dutch and Belgian satellite platforms Canal Digitaal Satelliet and TV Vlaanderen are charging customers for their current smart card swapouts. In The Netherlands, Canal Digitaal Satelliet will only charge customers on its low end tiers, while in Belgium all subscribers to the service will incur a one-time €12.50 “handling fee”.
