Ted Turner wants CNN back

Ted Turner is (in)famous for sometimes not engaging brain before using mouth. But appearing on Bloomberg TV on Friday he seemed to be speaking from the heart when he said he’d love to be running CNN again, and Cartoon Network.

Turner said: "I'd like to see me running Time Warner," adding, "I'd like CNN to report to me, and the Cartoon Network." Ted admitted to interviewer Betty Liu that he’d want to make some changes at Cartoon and CNN, and make CNN “less fluffy news, and more international news…less talk, more news.”

For Cartoon Network, Turner said he’d want to put 'Captain Planet' on at a top time period “so that kids would see the environmental superhero instead of just Superman."
