Black Wii will come to Blighty, says Nintendo

The black Wii will finally arrive in Europe next month, Nintendo has pledged.

The black Wii hits Blighty next month

Despite launching in Japan back in August, the all-black Wii will now finally be available to UK and Republic of Ireland-based Wii lovers on 6 November.

Mainland Europe will get the machine on 20 November, Nintendo added.

Since a switch from white to black plastic isn’t the most exciting news that Nintendo could have announced in the world of Wii, the gaming giant’s tried to sweeten the deal by branding it as a “limited Edition” bundle.

The bundle includes a black Remote, black Nunchuck, black MotionPlus peripheral and copies of both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.

A black Classic Controller Pro will also be available - but not as part of the limited edition bundle, Nintendo stressed.

Nintendo has yet to announce a formal price for the black Wii bundle.
