AOL UK has signed with Sky Sports to provide extensive online video for its premium users. Under the partnership, members of AOL UK's broadband gold and platinum services will obtain access to Sky Sports broadband content including highlights from FA premier league and champions league games, Sky Sports news bulletins, clips from Sky's Soccer am show, as well as a host of other sports. Access for one year will be provided free to AOL Broadband Gold and Platinum members signing up to the new service during July, while those members signing up thereafter will continue to have free access to a substantial part of the Sky Sports content, or will be allowed to subscribe to the full package at a reduced rate. ALSO: BSkyB has signed a £600,000 advertising deal with Wanadoo to drive sign-ups and promote its latest offers, after the success of previous campaigns. Advertising will feature prominently on the homepage and will be weighted towards key times of the year for BSkyB. It will also be integrated into the Wanadoo portal.
