Nickelodeon 'Real-Life' animation

Nickelodeon Europe is launching “The Nickelodeon Family”, a brand new TV campaign, across its European network including The Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain and South Africa.

The campaign begins with a European hunt to find the most engaging and captivating family and will be promoted on and off-air and online on Nickelodeon's branded channels and programming blocks. Kids from each region can enter the competition and nominate their family by describing in no more than fifty words why their family deserves to join the ranks of SpongeBob Squarepants, Chuckie from the Rugrats and other well-known and well-loved Nickelodeon cartoons.

“The Nickelodeon Family” will then feature in a series of comedy driven storylines based on typical scenes from their family life. These engaging cartoons will tap into the characters and idiosyncracies of the family and the first animation will be based on the winning entry from each region, bringing to life the child's description of their family. Each family will also win a fantastic seven night stay at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando.
